1) The Liberator Roams the Skies..
The world does not yet know the name Liberator. Captain Alia Rychist and her crew slip by authorities un-noticed. Their mission: to liberate Awakened Individuals (figures of extraordinary power) from the clutches of the Prophetess, and bring them into their cause.
2) Scavengers Scour the Wastes...
Tragedy strikes below. At death's door, a lone tech-scavenger named Jim exhibits extraordinary power akin to the much maligned Awakened, attracting the attention of Captain Alia and her crew of Awakened Individuals.
3) Figures Lurk in the Dark...
Such power does not go unnoticed. Agents of the Prophetess make use of the recent political stalemate to further their aims in the region of Rock Bottom: to bring all Awakened under the thumb of the Holy Land, and reignite their Conquest of Ruin.
4) A Clash Defines an Age...
The Stage is Set.
